i dont hate metal but some of my friends are metalheads and sometimes they can get quite shitty about metal being “the only real music”,plus once a very popular and respected rock musician in my country confronted a DJ asking him what he did for a living,and when he said “i make music” this guy replied “you dont make music,real music is made with instruments”.

And this became an overused shitty argument since then

i enjoy shade humor as much as everyone but i get too much that “why dont you listen to real music” bullshit and “electro sounds all the same”.

the Metalhead community is not free of the Special Snowflake complex “i am a young person who listens to real music and not the clubby shit everyone listens to right now,you say skrillex i say metallica,you say justin bieber i say—”
